A few Miles off Hatteras Village, Hatteras NC
I mentioned yesterday that the 27th catch, was the most Grey’s that I have ever caught in one day, a low ball estimate would be well over 150-200 Fish. The most Greys I have ever caught before this was 2. That’sright 2. Go figure that this year they DMF, puts a One a day Kill Limit on them. That is the main reason I let them live, not worth the effort of puttin them on Ice.

Cora June Island to the South
Planned to take Kellie on a Grey Trout Massacre Adventure because I plumb wore them out the day before.. It is about a 3 mile paddle from the Roost to the Grey Death Marker on my On board GPS, so we took off late from the Marina at around 9 a.m. With a SE wind it puts the wind @ your back which makes for incredible speeds on the way out and lots of chop and wind in your face on the way back. Hitting 5.2 knts on the way out was great as we go to my GPS way-point in no time.

First one for Kellie many more to come....
After setting Anchor in the exact location as the day before, we were both hooked up on our first casts.. I knew it was on at that Point, and just for fun we decided to keep count of our fish catches.. Which is not easy to do when your catching one every cast.

17 Incher Nice Fish.. All they are gonna do is get bigger, and move around...
We were out and out Destroying Grey Trout, four or five would come up to the Yak with the one you all ready had hooked, it was an amazing sight for sure. Not as steady as the day before but Kellie caught 31 Greys and One Lizard Fish..

Another Nice one for Kellie....We were surounded by power boats at this point and they were disrupting the school. We were catching them still on the Magic Fish Bites Xtreme while they watched, and eventualy left..
Now I don’t care who you are but 31 Greys is an awesome feat for anyone, and I would venture to guess that not too many folks get to catch 31 Trout in a 4 hour period. We left them biting, all agrins, with our paddle back to head on winds Back to Teach’s Lair Marina..
By the Way I ended up with 51 Greys and a 16 inch flounder…. What a day on the water …. When ya find them once it’s Luck, when ya find them twice, your real lucky…
Watching Kellie pull in fish after fish was a blast, memories for a life time we made….

If you all want to do this get up with me I believe I have found them and they will not go far. GPS said we did 6.23 Miles, easy anyone could do it.

4 Hours we caught Fish, someone was Hooked up the entire time.

This one had some shoulders.. Fun class of fish on ultra-lite tackle 4 pound test and a jig head.

16 inch flounder was also part of the plunder...
Well Back to work today, until the next Adventure …
JAM out
